On Friday, September 28, We Day came to Toronto!
We Day is Free the Children‘s youth empowerment event that brings young people from across North America together to celebrate the positive actions they are taking and to learn about important social issues from some of the greatest social justice leaders and performers. We Day shows youth that they are not alone in their journey to make a difference.
“We Day is more than just one day of celebration and inspiration. We Day is the movement of our time – a movement of young people leading local and global change.”
The list of performers and speakers at We Day Toronto included Hedley, Justin Trudeau, Martin Sheen, Nelly Furtado, Spencer West, Al Gore, Cirque de Soleil, Craig and Marc Kielburger, Roméo Dallaire, Jennifer Hudson and more!
