Getting on a plane and landing in a completely new country and culture can be intimidating. But Henry didn’t let a language barrier in a country more than 11,000 kilometres from his home slow him down. Whether exploring Beijing’s traditional hutong on a rickshaw or embracing Shanghai’s teeming metropolis, Henry jumped headfirst into his first global adventure. From square dancing with locals to “playing” the Erhu, he tried everything – and his huge smile only seemed to grow. Reminding us that sometimes when you’re not in Kansas anymore (literally or figuratively), you just have to embrace it.
Tell us your favourite stories from tour and we’ll use them to inspire others to explore the world. Make us smile, make us laugh, make us cry the good tears. Tell us about an amazing “first” from your tour, or about going back to a place you’ve always loved. We want to get to know you, your experience and the sights, sounds and people that make your story unforgettable. All we ask is that you keep it to around 250 words and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll include the best ones on our blog, in our brochure, in videos…heck, we might even put them in a bottle and toss them in the sea. Because great stories are worth sharing with everyone.
